Bob is a third generation farmer from western New York State, where he also owns a farm producing corn, wheat, and beans. Bob handles pasture management activities such as planting seeds, mowing grass, and moving hay bales.
Matthew is a native of Union County, where he also runs a successful small business. Matthew handles the more exciting aspects of ranching, such as tagging newly born calves, operating the heavy equipment, and rounding up stray cattle.
Boomer is a young Border Collie with an instinct to herd cattle. Although the 1,200 pound cows outweigh Boomer by 30 times, he nevertheless strikes fear into their hearts. Cattle that get out of line are swiftly returned to their place.
